13.4 Typical tasks

Find machines that have not taken the latest policy 1. Note the policy version in the top bar. 2. On Agents → Agents, sort by Policy ver. 3. For offline machines (⚪), check Last seen. 4. For online machines with an old version, click Restart. If the version still does not move, collect diagnostics.

Move a machine to a different group temporarily 1. Open the drawer and choose the group in Policy group. 2. Check Active policies: the chips update when the drawer is reopened. 3. Click Restart to apply immediately. 4. To undo, choose Default or (auto: …).

Investigate “Office enforcement is not working on PC-0123” 1. In the drawer, check Office add-ins. A disabled or not registered pill points to the COM add-in. Common causes are the Office “signed add-ins only” policy and an /AGENTONLY install (section 12.2.2). 2. Check the License and Status columns: Passive, Over limit and Disabled all stop enforcement. 3. Check unprotected and Identity. 4. Click Collect diagnostics.

Retire a machine 1. Click Remote uninstall while the machine is online. 2. Wait for Uninstall completed in Recent activity. 3. Delete the row.
